Summit County is located in the heart of the mountains in central Colorado. More great skiing and high-end resorts and real estate. Big mountains with lots of forest and, because of the resort money, lots of excellent hiking and biking trails.

Summit County contains 597.1 square miles of land and 11.1 square miles of water. The county seat is Breckenridge.
