Dworshak State Park

Dworshak State Park is composed of 3 units on the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir, just north of the Nez Perce Reservation boundary. The reservoir allows for some excellent boating, fishing and waterskiing, while the surrounding countryside offers camping and hiking opportunities. A boat ramp, handling dock and nearby fish-cleaning station make use of the reservoir quite enjoyable.

There are 105 campsites at the Freemen Creek Unit, with 3 group loops, 4 camping cabins and 1 large picnic shelter. Facilities include restrooms, showers, hiking trails, an archery range and a boat ramp. The Three Meadows Group Camp offers 8 bunk-style group cabins, another cabin that "only" sleeps 4 and a spacious lodge with full kitchen facilities. Then there's the Big Eddy Lodge and Marina with 101 boat slips, snacks, ice, fishing gear and fuel. The Big Eddy Lodge is also available to rent for family reunions, weddings and other group functions.
