The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is a 3,100-mile route that follows (or parallels) the imaginary line of the Continental Divide between Mexico and Canada. The trail was authorized under the 1978 National Trails Systems Act but at this point in time (2017), major sections of it are still unfinished.

After years of procrastinating I'm finally getting around to giving the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail some TLC. It's not going to happen quickly but it is finally happening. Part of the fun is that I have to divide the route by state...
