Sitzmark is a small, local ski area known for dry snow, low ticket prices, great views, lots of sunshine and small crowds. The ski area lodge offers a patrol room, lunch counter, brown-bag lunch area, fireplace, warming stove and great views of the slopes. Next to the lodge is the rental hut with snowshoes, snowboards, alpine and Nordic skis: rentals, sales and repairs.

To get there: from Oroville go 12 miles east on Chesaw Road. At Havillah-Tonasket Road turn right. Sitzmark Ski Area is right beside the road, parking is along the roadway.
