Grand County is in east central Utah, up against the Colorado border. This is the home of Arches National Park, Moab and the heart of Utah's famous Red Rock Country.

Grand County contains 3,682 square miles of land and 13 square miles of water. The county seat is Moab.

A lot of folks come to this area for rafting on the Colorado River, rock climbing on the sheer sandstone walls and for mountain biking opportunities such as the world-famous Slick Rock Trail. The Moab area also sees annual "rock-crawling" competitions, where folks drive specially designed and built 4WD "rock-crawlers" across some pretty wild and woolly countryside.
