Arkansas River
Go 4 miles east of Holly on US 50 to CR 39, turn and go south 3/4 of a mile, cross the canal, then turn and go west 1/2 mile.
FISHING: Warm water stream
HUNTING: Deer, small game, pheasant, bobwhite quail, dove, waterfowl
RECREATION: Hiking, camping, wildlife observation.
Go 2.5 miles north of Granada on US 385 to CR JJ, then 2.5 miles east to Cr 27, go south on CR 27 about 1/2 mile to parking area.

HUNTING: Small game, waterfowl, deer
In Granada, go east on Half Street (first road north of the railroad tracks) for 1.5 miles.

FISHING: Warm water fishing in the Arkansas River

  • No fires or camping allowed.
  • Park only in designated areas.
  • No ATV's or dirt bikes allowed. All other vehicles must stay on access roads or in parking areas.
  • Closed from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise.

Go 1 mile north of Holly on CR 34.

Go north from Holly on CR 35 to Road JJ, then east on Road JJ for 2 miles.

Thurston Reservoir
Go 9 miles north of Lamar on Highway 196 to CR TT, then 1 mile west to CR 7, then 1/4 mile north to the property.

HUNTING: Small game, waterfowl, dove
FISHING: Warm water reservoir
RECREATION: Sail boating, power boating, wind surfing, waterskiing, camping, wildlife observation.
FACILITIES: Rest rooms, boat ramp

  • No boating allowed that creates a whitewater wake from November 1 through the last day of waterfowl season.
  • Except for fishing, closed from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise.
  • No ATV's, dirt bikes or snowmobiles allowed.
  • Frozen surface of lake is closed.
  • Dams, inlets and outlet structures closed except for fishing.

Two Buttes Reservoir
Go 18 miles north from Springfield on US 287 to CR B.5, then go 3 miles east to the property.
ACRES: 6,793
HUNTING: Deer, pronghorn, rabbit, scaled and bobwhite quail, pheasant, dove, waterfowl.
FISHING: Warm water reservoir
RECREATION: Hiking, camping, rock climbing, wildlife observation.
FACILITIES: Drinking water, rest rooms, dump station, boat ramps, rifle range.
RESTRICTIONS: No boating allowed in Two Buttes Ponds below the dam except float tubes or watercraft propelled by hand, wind or electric motor.
