Navajo State Park

Navajo State Park is located along the northern shore of Navajo Lake, a 15,000 surface-acre reservoir that extends southward for 20 miles into New Mexico. This is primarily a water sports park but there are 138 campsites, all of them open year-round. Fishermen find catfish, bluegill, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie and trout in the lake. The Two Rivers Marina offers daily and seasonal rentals of mooring balls, boat slips and boats, plus gasoline for boats. One of the boats they offer is the 30-foot "Party Hut." This is almost a houseboat as it sleeps 6, has a galley with counter, sink, cooler and barbecue grill, and a restroom (but no shower).
